Most small business websites just sit there.
In October 2026, WebCore measured 295 trade and clinic websites in 15 Ontario towns with Google PageSpeed Insights. The median one takes 6.8 seconds to show its headline on a phone. Google calls 2.5 seconds good.
A website compounds when someone works on it. Make it relevant for its keywords and it scores better. Make it faster and visitors get a better experience. Add pages and more people find it. Most owners are too busy being the whole business to do that work, so their website never starts to compound.
WebCore makes the website do the work. It went live on 1 October 2026, after more than 5,000 commits.
